The Astro has had help from other team members, who have been looking for clues, and interviewing witnesses and/or suspects. With all the leads leading to him, Huntington is in some hot water. Huntington wishes to prove his innocence and set the record straight on what happened. Now, with a sparkly new interview from him, let’s see if all these loose ends tie up, or get lost in the mess of the investigation!
Huntington recounts what happened, saying, “I assigned too much, assigned too many essays to the Astro, and they kind of passed out, and I felt a little bad when they fell and hit their head. You’d think that the helmet would have helped them, but it didn’t. And, they knocked over my water bottle at the last minute, but I swear, I didn’t do anything other than just assign a good old-fashioned essay.” He continues, “there were six of them, but each one was very important. I am a professional journalist. I mean, look, you’ve got to feed the media monster. And the Orbit needed content. And so I assigned, maybe it was eight, eight articles, I don’t remember.” Investigators were worried when he couldn’t accurately remember the amount of work he gave to his students, or what type of work.
When asked how he felt about the Astro passing out, he had an interesting response, stating, “I never like it when a child gets knocked out, because I can’t harvest my magical tears from them.” This response left investigators flabbergasted, and when he was asked to clarify, he responded with, “You have to understand. So, the reason I became an English teacher was because it was an opportunity for me to assign so much work that I could stress the children out enough that they would cry. And you have to understand that their little tears are perfect for the spells that I need for the black magic. For the black magic that I’m a part of. So I need the children’s tears for my spells. And so I sign the essay, so they’ll cry.”
This left investigators with a lot more questions than when they went into the interview. One investigator was really confused, asking if Huntington even worked there. “I don’t even work here. I just found this badge outside the McDonald’s,” he said in full confidence, leaving the room quiet and full of confusion.
At the end of the day, the team had figured out what happened to the Astro, and most agree that it is the most important thing. The Astro, too overworked, passed out, taking Huntington’s water with them. From there, Zayne just didn’t feel the need to help them until others arrived. With Zahra and Huntington just barely missing each other when heading to the office, both turned out to be telling the truth. Kynzee just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, it seemed.
But that leaves one more question… All that extra work the Astro had! Huntington said he only gave eight papers for them to write, but the Astro had said they had, at some point, almost 18?! Who could have given them so much work! It’s no wonder they had passed out from exhaustion. I wonder who could be so evil as to do that to a fellow journalist?
